CEST Kompetenzzentrum für elektrochemische Oberflächentechnologie GmbH
CEST is Austria’s competence centre for electrochemical surface technology and acts as an innovation generator and trendsetter where science and industry meet. The centre of excellence was founded in 2008 within the framework of the Austrian funding programme COMET and, together with its partners from science and industry, serves the manufacturing industry. The goal of all K1 partners is to pool the developments achieved for innovative business processes and products. Within the funding period of the Comet K1 programme, CEST aims to establish itself as a leading European institute for electrochemical surface technology. CEST’s research projects are carried out in close cooperation with domestic and foreign universities – in particular to ensure a high level of scientific quality and to take advantage of the know-how of the university institutions.
