Research Communication
Another key task is establishing the position of Upper Austria as a centre of research at home and abroad and making Upper Austria’s research expertise widely known. The aim is to maintain and intensify appreciation of the importance of research and development in society in the long term.
This involves the communication of current research findings, the definition of R & D priorities and the use of appropriate media including the presentation of research activities at relevant fairs.
In addition, projects such as the “Long Night of Research” and the “Upper Austrian Women Researchers’ Award” are coordinated on behalf of the province of Upper Austria.
