After the great success of the first international conference on quantum sensing in Linz, the event series is entering its next phase: QSL‘25 – Quantum Sensing Linz 2025 will take place on April 29, 2025, at Johannes Kepler University (JKU) Linz.
Organized by RECENDT – Research Center for Non-Destructive Testing GmbH, Member of the UAR Innovation Network, and Johannes Kepler University Linz, the event will once again bring together leading scientists, industry representatives, and interested stakeholders to explore the latest developments and applications in quantum sensing.

Quantum Sensing: Precision on a New Level

Quantum sensing is regarded as a key technology of the future. It enables measurements with unprecedented precision, unlocking revolutionary possibilities for research and industry. The success of QSL‘24 already demonstrated this, as over 120 participants from academia and industry gained valuable insights into advancements in this dynamic field. The positive feedback and strong interest have encouraged RECENDT and JKU Linz to continue the event in 2025.

High-Level Presentations and Interdisciplinary Exchange

Attendees of QSL‘25 can once again look forward to top-tier keynotes and expert talks from national and international specialists. The conference will provide fascinating insights into the latest developments and applications of quantum technology – from innovative non-destructive material testing methods and microplastic detection to high-precision sensors for navigation and space missions.

Leading scientists and researchers from renowned institutions such as JKU Linz, the Ferdinand-Braun-Institut Berlin, Humboldt University Berlin, the University of Innsbruck, the Austrian Academy of Sciences (ÖAW), as well as research centers from the UAR Innovation Network, RECENDT, and Silicon Austria Labs will present their latest findings and discuss future application areas of quantum sensing.
