RISCversity – Diversity as a Success Factor

The RISCversity project carried out by RISC Software has been successfully concluded. Its aim was to permanently establish awareness of issues relating to gender and diversity as an integral part of the corporate culture. The topic was comprehensively covered in special awareness workshops and training sessions and employees received insights into the importance of equal opportunities and diversity in their everyday working lives. One significant measure was the appointment of gender equality officers to deal with and promote the issue of diversity at all levels.

To achieve wide acceptance and deeper understanding of diversity, the entire team was involved in the project. The measures taken had the aim of breaking down any barriers that might detract from a working atmosphere that ensures equal rights, is productive and fosters innovation. The project team is proud that diversity and equal opportunities have now become firmly established in the company culture as key values.

RISC Software sees the positive feedback from employees as proof of the project’s success and plans to take it as the basis for developing further measures for implementing the diversity strategy long term. The experience gained during the project and the commitment of all those involved constitute a solid basis for the future.
