UAR Innovation Network at the JKU Careers Day 2024

On 27 November 2024, the UAR Innovation Network once again presented its activities on a joint stand at the JKU Careers Day.

With over 130 companies taking part, the JKU Careers Day was once again one of Upper Austria’s largest events for careers. The UAR Innovation Network was also present with a total of 10 member organizations and was able to give fascinating insights into research undertakings and the many different career opportunities available in industry-related research.

The day was an excellent opportunity to meet talented students and talk to them about their career plans and visions.

The large number of people visiting the stand once again underlined the great interest that students have in a career in research. At the same time, the event gave us the chance to make valuable contacts and discover potential talents who could work with us on future projects. These contacts are vital to the UAR Innovation Network since they are the foundation for securing our innovation competence in the long term.

A particular highlight of the day was our competition which, as in previous years, attracted numerous visitors. The prize this year is a season ticket for all public transport in Austria, valid for one year. The lucky winner will receive it in the next few days. This idea excited a great deal of interest and underlines our commitment to a sustainable future.
