In September, Pro2Future hosted the 6th partner conference and welcomed guests to the official opening of the company’s new headquarters. In the summer of 2021, the research centre moved into new offices and laboratories in Science Park 4 on the campus of the Johannes Kepler University. At its headquarters in Linz, its premises in Graz and its project location in Steyr, the centre conducts research on intelligent and thinking products.

Founded in 2017 as a K1 centre under the COMET programme, Pro2Future is flourishing on Austria’s dynamic industry and research highway between Upper Austria and Styria. The focus is on the interaction between humans and intelligent machinery. At the beginning of April, Pro2Future successfully started the second funding period for which this member of the UAR Innovation Network was able to count on the cooperation of nearly 40 research partners, some new and others eager to continue this productive collaboration. Pro2Future also has the financial backing of Austria’s two leading industrial provinces, Upper Austria and Styria.
