PCCL Held 23rd Leoben Polymer Congress

External Assessment Gives UAR Top Marks

Since mid-2010, Upper Austrian Research GmbH (UAR) has acted as the Leading Research Company of the province of Upper Austria. The latest assessment carried out by Technopolis with the WIFO (Austrian Institute of Economic Research) and the Fraunhofer Society was extremely favourable to UAR.

PCCL Researcher is "Austrian of the Year 2014"

For the eleventh time, the daily newspaper Die Presse has chosen its Austrian of the Year. Polymer scientist Dieter P. Gruber from Leoben was chosen by a panel of experts as "Austrian of the Year" in the "Research" category.

Research Network for Process Analysis COMET K Project "imPACts" launched

The 5th call for COMET K projects brought approval for six of the ten top-class projects submitted from Upper Austria. Four of the six approved projects are even lead-managed by Upper Austrian consortiums! One of these is " imPACts", a powerful network for process analysis, headed by the Linz company RECENDT GmbH.
