RISC: Complication Predictino in Aneurysm Treatment

Aortic aneurysms, dangerous dilations of the aorta, are among the most common vascular diseases and cause thousands of deaths every year. While open surgery places considerable physical stress on the patient and necessitates lengthy recuperation, so-called endovascular treatment entails a range of possible post-operative complications. In this procedure, a stent graft, a kind of small tube, is introduced through the blood vessel and placed inside the aneurysm.
